Melody in F composed by Rubinstein
Edited by Lombardo for 3 Flutes
Includes score and parts
He was a Russian composer and pianist, along with the founder of Russia's first conservatory in St. Petersburg (he served as both director and instructor there). One of his composition students was Tchaikovsky, and he greatly influenced Russian musical culture. Though Rubinstein composed many operas, orchestra works and songs, he is best known for his piano pieces. This is an arrangment of one of those piano works, and is also known as “Welcome, Sweet Springtime!”. The melody line of the right hand for piano is passed between the parts, while the left hand is covered by the other two parts.
