Popular music is becoming increasingly important at music schools, particularly among young students. These students fo noy want to play only the music of the baroque, classical or romantic periods, for example, but are also asking for rock and pop. This inspired the composer to write a composition in that genre. The tonal range and the degree of difficulty in the Modern Suite are designed in such a way that students or amateur musicians can manage the part well.
