Rhapsodia Andina for violin or flute and piano by Adriana Isabel Figueroa Manas
This piece has two parts, and each part recreates movements with a flavor of Argentine folkloric music. Although folklore is not used in its traditional form, what appears are colorful, melodic twists or rhythms that evoke the popular music of Argentina, interpreted in a more academic manner, putting it on the level of chamber music. The original version of the piece is written for oboe and piano. This version is rewritten for violin or flute, and piano.
