An Italian composer of the 20th century, he was known as one of the foremost guitar composers, and became a film composer for the MGM Studios after he emigrated in 1939. The three movements of the piece are Allegretto grazioso, Tempo di Siciliana (andantino grazioso e malinconico) and Scherzo-Rondo (allegretto con spirito). Each movement can be performed individually, or as one larger piece.
