The cadenza in the movement Bop is passed among five player. Each player is welcome to improvise or embellish on their portion of the cadenza. The aspirated vocal sounds in Bop are to be loudly whispered through the flute, resulting in a percussive, airy sound. The accents are important to the overall effect. The sounds to be used are the following: To=as in tow…Ti=as in tick…Ki=as in kick…Chi=as in chicken…Ka=as in kaboom…Suh=as in supper
