Trio #1 in G Major composed by Giuseppe Demachi (1732-1791)
Edited by Hans Steinbeck for 3 Flutes
Includes PARTS ONLY
The Trio in G Major for three unaccompanied flutes or violins by Giuseppe Demachi (c. 1750) is hereby printed for the first time in our era. It was the first of a group of three works published by J. Fentum in London under the title “Three Trios for three flutes or three violins composed by G. Demachi.” The present edition is based on a copy preserved in the British Museum, sign. g. 274. d. (4.). This charming trio in early classical style may take its place worthily among works of the same variety already published. Music lovers will find it a source of pleasure, whether in the original instrumentation or in any of a number of differing combinations (for example flute, oboe and bassoon).
