Variations on “La ci darem la mano,” composed by Ludwig von Beethoven
Edited by Frank Michael for three c flutes (or for two c flutes and alto flute)
Includes score and parts
Originally scored for two oboes and English horn, this arrangement of the Beethoven's variations on the aria from Mozart's Don Giovanni can either be played by three C flutes or 2 C flutes and alto. There are nine variations, and, if using three C flutes, flute 3 will play from the score. This work was probably written in 1795, shortly after the grand trio op87.
