Voi, che sapete (from The Marriage of Figaro) for Solo Mezzo-Soprano and Flute Choir
'Voi, che sapete' from Mozart’s opera 'Le nozze di Figaro' is sung by the character Cherubino. ((A female singer generally plays this role.) Cherubino, a peasant boy, meets Susanna and the Countess in a garden and is coerced into singing a love song that he wrote. The love song asks whether or not Cherubino is experiencing feelings of love.
Program and arranger's notes are included in a preface to the score.
Scored for Mezzo-Soprano solo, 4 flutes, alto flute, and bass flute.
