We Three Kings is an excellent feature piece for the flute and clarinet. Performance requirements for the flute and clarinet parts require good control over scale runs and tonal intensity to successfully perform this selection. There is a flute and clarinet cadenza section which requires imagination with rubato. Piano parts are not difficult but require musical awareness throughout. Mallet parts are optional. This selection is fun to play and well recieved by audiences.
