Wordless Songs

For FLUTE CHOIR – “Wordless Songs” is a nod to Mendelssohn’s famous “Songs Without Words.” These are three short, contrasting songs in a set, meant to be performed together. The titles are all plays on the “Wordless” theme, starting with:

• No Talking in the Morning (Tranquillo – Briskly)
• Unspoken Affection  (With emotion)
• Shut-up and Dance  (Fast swing)
