Description
World-Music-Balkan
For Flute, Ensemble and CD
Ensemble parts include two melody parts, guitar, bass and percussion.
The Balkins consist of culturally diverse regions and this diversity is reflected in the region's varied and colourful music. While Western music uses meticulous notation in the search for authenticity and a preserved musical heritage, the music of the Balkans has a long oral tradition. This means that a continuous stream of external influences has shaped the region's music and given it the diversity it now enjoys.
