Tasting Notes
For Flute, Soprano, and Piano

This piece was premiered at a concert being held at the Calona Vineyards Winery in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada.  The concert invited the audience to travel through the winery with the musicians, sampling Canadian music and wine as they went.  As the title implies, the text is entirely made up of “winespeak”, the typical phrases used when describing the taste of wine.
