Classic Solos for Flute and Keyboard is designed to offer a complete range of music suitable for the classic wedding. The wealth of material allows the flutist to perform prelude, processional, and recessional music, as well as reflective solos appropriate during the ceremony. For example, Canon in D, Andantino, and Trumpet Tune are useful for professionals. Psalm XIX, Giga (from Sonata V) and Alleluia are effective recessionals. Many of the Baroque masterpieces (Bach, Handel, Marcello, Purcell) adapt easily to organ accompaniment using a light registration (8′, 4′ [2′] with Pedal 16′, 8′)
