Echoes in the Wind

Composed by Phyllis Avidan Louke, subtitled “A Native American Soliloquy”

Originally composed for alto flute and piano by Sue Blessing, this haunting melody evokes the image of a Native American flutist atop a mountain playing over the vast land below.  

Scored for piccolo, 3 C flutes, alto, bass, and Indian-style drum. (Optional C part included to substitute for alto flute.)
