A French composer and flute virtuoso of the 18th century, he wrote primarily for the flute in the Italian and French styles.  All of his works are written only in easy keys, so that amateurs could play them.  The eight short pieces are:  Menuet de Trompette; Autre Menuet; Autre; Rondeau dans Zaide; Rondeau de Blavet; Menuet de Cupis with variation, Menuet Allemand and Menuet Italien with variations.
