Dutch/French composer Camille van Lunen (b.1957) has turned her frustration with experiencing long delays waiting for trains at the Cologne railway station into a “sound collage” for wind quintet.  This work contains a wonderful mix of pseudo-rhetorical platform announcements and imitation train noises.  Included in the parts are texts imitating train station announcements for the horn and clarinet to read into the bells of their instruments, and for the flute into the embouchure.  These texts can be adapted to the appropriate country for performance purpose.  Texts are in German.
