It was my intention to create a piece that captured the essence of “The Magic Flute” without becoming just another medley. I wanted listeners unfamiliar with the opera to enjoy this piece as much as those who knew every aria. Hopefully, I was successful in weaving disparate parts of this birlliant opera into a fun-to-perform organic whole.
