This arrangement by Gudrun Hinze was created for performance by her flute quintet, Quintessenz. A suite of five movements has been created from the incidental music to Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” including three instrumental movements and two which include vocal soli (lyrics are included with the score to better understand phrasing and dramatic context).
