Schocker has taught the Bach Partita over the years, leading to this teaching edition with his suggested approach to the work. He has also played a second part along with his students, to help them realize the dance-like feeling in the Partita and to provide rhythmic support. Encouraged to publish his “ghost,” Schocker here provides a stand-alone edition of the Partita along with his “ghost” accompaniment, with instructions for use.
