This arrangement of J.S. Bach's beautiful Prelude comes from the first book of The Well-Tempered Clavier. The original, “Prelude XXII,” is in Bb minor. The arrangement, bu Judy Nishimura, was developed while she was playing in a professional flute quartet. It seems that necessity truly is the mother of invention.
