Psalm 19 by Benedetto Marcello, arranged (1996) for flute choir by Sondra Tucker
Scored for 4 C Flutes and optional alto flute and optional bass flute.
Psalm 19 is most familiar as an organ work and is often selected as a processional or recessional for wedding ceremonies, although its commanding fanfare may serve as well as a resounding opening to any flute choir program. The arrangement can be played with just four C flutes, but the additional alto and bass flutes are recommended for a lush, full sound.
