The Six Contredanses Quadrillees are based on six popular group dances of the first half of the nineteenth century.  The dances or figures are Le Pantalon, L'Ete, La Poule, La Pastourelle, Final and Un Pantalon.  Included in the guitar score are the directions for each dance in French.
