Sonatina Op49 #2 Movement 1 by Ludwig van Beethoven
Arranged for 4 C Flutes by Wayne Fritchie
Includes score and parts
Originally written for piano, this is a relatively simple work and is considered the easiest of all the Beethoven piano sonatas. It was published in 1805, but probably was written several years before that. The music features a stately theme, and more playful second theme is also introduced. Both themes undergo only minimal development before recapitulating at the end, making for a simplified sonata form, with its main theme based heavily on a triad chord.
