Venus is a positively splendid match to the flute choir with its lush chords and gorgeous melodies. It's a true tour de force, requiring 15 independent parts. Though not technically demanding, it calls for a great deal of dynamic control and group balance.  2 piccolos, 10 C fl, alto, bass & optional contrabass.
