Zydeco Flutes

Composed by Mary Alice Rich, commissioned by Priscilla Ochran-Holt for the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Flute Choir.

Premiered at the 2013 NFA Convention in New Orleans, Zydeco Flutes captures the spirit of this historic city through text (voice), flutes and percussion instruments. A truly unique addition to the flute choir repertoire.
