Alleluia from Exultate Jubilate by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, arranged for flute choir by David Marlatt
This is one of Mozart's most familiar soprano arias. “Exultate Jubilate”, a motet for soprano and orchestra, was a three-movement work with this famous 'Alleluia' as the grand finale. This vocal showpiece for soprano has been adapted as a soloist showpiece. The string accompaniment has been simplified and divided between the remaining players. This is a great piece to show off a player and demonstrate the subtlety of the music of Mozart.
Solo with ensemble.
Scored for 5 flutes (flute quintet)
