The flute duets of CarioSamlero acquired their name from the three South American dances whose rhythms were used: carioca, samba, bolero.  The indicated tempi and articulations must strictly be followed, so that wit and charm of these pieces are fully expressed.  The bolero must under no circumstances be played at a faster tempo.
