Shenanigans was composed for the composer’s friends, Audrey Murphy and Emmalee Hackshaw, who premiered the piece.  The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the word shenanigans as “tricky or questionable practices or conduct”.  No more needs to be said about these trio of friends who met on Craigslist.
