An American composer, conductor and flutist, he studied the flute with Georges Barrere and composition with Nadia Boulanger.  This has several small movements, which are Choral Prelude, Bells, Fughetta, Ballade, Hens, Medieval Air , Motet, Ballet Waltz, Woodpeckers and an arrangement of Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus.  A nice piece for a young flute trio to perform as part of a recital.
