Eight distinctive musical voices are represented, all speaking with meaning and importance in the world of contemporary American music. Each composer’s work is distinctive, a vision in sound offering a fresh and personal approach to music for the flute. Together, they paint a striking picture of the vitality and diversity of new music today.
